Autumn – Akron Falls Park, No.2

I feel the constant movement that seethes under stillness. I try to capture a moment, the way it feels to be there, to walk right in. The way the air moves around, the trees, the rocks, the water – touches my skin, messes my hair. These paintings are my prayers. My work includes allegory, abstraction and movement, and I am a deep admirer of The Canadian Group of Seven.
Larger works are acrylic on canvas. “Tiny Landscapes” are mixed media, watercolor, ink and pencil on paper.

I restarted painting again in 2014. My works have been in several galleries, juried exhibitions and are in private corporate and personal collections in the US and Japan.
